Here is a schedule of meetings and
activities for the Am Club. Remember, if you know
anyone who hasn't joined the Club yet, encourage them to
do so ASAP and get them on the mailing list! Share this
email with any potential member you know of, including
our Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois neighbors!
May 16, after the show, Am Meeting
with a wine and cheese tasting. Please bring a bottle
(or box) of your favorite wine and some cheese. We will
be discussing the shirt order, sponsorships for fund
raising and other meeting dates.
May 30, Am Club get together after
the show to discuss Cheesehead Classic and get a sign up
sheet for workers for that show. Encourage family and
friends to volunteer to work for you!
Other Business:
Well April 15th came and went and I
heard no negatives about the Am. Club purchasing the
saddle for Cheesehead Classic drawing. So I guess it is
a go! Yippee!
As some of you may know, we have been
having meetings here in Green Bay to get ready for the
Cheesehead Classic.
We will be offering not only the
saddle give away (one chance per each paid class entry),
but we will also be having weekend highpoint awards. The
awards will be embossed padfolio for all our important
show papers. These will feature the Cheesehead Classic
logo.
Also for that show we will be having
an Exhibitors party that will feature meat donated by
Kim Kuehn and American Foods Group (see flyer). I am
hoping that we could provide the rest of food and
condiments for that party by having a pot luck sign up.
I will have these at the first two shows.
Just a reminder, we are seeking
sponsorships, for this show in order to make it a fund
raising opportunity for the Club. I have attached
a form for these as well. All sponsorships will be
announced and if indicated, during the class they are
sponsoring. A big thanks to all who have already gotten
sponsorships in. We look forward to your participation.
Regarding, shirts, I will be bringing
the style selections and be getting an order ready and
ordering extras for sale at the POR in June (an
following shows). The provider needs about a week to
complete an order, so we should be fine for the paint o
rama.
